Description: The oil is distilled from the leaves and unripe fruit. It is clear, with a slight yellow tint that matures into a dark brown. It may cause skin and mucous membrane irritations.

Uses: Ingested internally, it has stimulating properties that promote digestive and stomachic action. It helps flatulence, promotes digestion, and restores the appetite. Clove oil is a useful tonic for mental and physical weakness, and it is a sexual stimulant. Clove is warming, and can be rubbed upon sore muscles and stiff joints along with a carrier oil.

Qualities: Antiseptic, stimulant, tonic, analgesic, aphrodisiac and antifungal.
