Herbal Color,Henna Indigo 1lb All Natural Hair care

8 oz of Real Indigo Leaves (actual dry leaves, shade dried to retain color) +

8 oz of Henna powder (hand powdered) - Super Herbal Color for Hair

Real Indigo leaf and henna powder is the original method of caring and coloring for your hair - promotes growth, retains lusture and prevents graying! Use together or separately - either way you will love the results!!

Natural indigo is one of the oldest dye. Indigo has been known to man for more than 4000 years. It is well-known that in ancient Egypt and ancient India, indigo was used for dyeing. Also in Asia we have an evidence of using indigo. A Chinese old book in about third century before Christ says "Blue from indigo plant is deeper than its origin." The direct translation of this proverb is "Blue from indigo plant is deeper than its origin." actually means "one attains a greater mastery than his teacher". We think this proverb corresponds to that of English "The new rose becomes more beautiful than the old rose"

Using henna and indigo together for hair coloring can result in black, raven black, blue-black, purplish black or burgundy black hair. The exact color result depends upon your original hair coloring as well as how you use your henna and indigo in this process. Henna and Indigo application can be done in either a two-step or one-step process, described below in detail.

Using Indigo leaf water as a rinse works as an excellent conditioner and de tangler - without coloring.

Why Color?

Colour therapy is rooted in Ayurveda, an ancient form of medicine practiced in India for thousands of years. Ayurveda is based on the idea that every individual contains the five basic elements of the universe: earth, water, air, fire, and ether (space). These elements are present in specific proportions unique to an individual's personality and constitution. When these elements are thrown out of balance through unhealthy living habits or outside forces, illness results. Ayurvedic medicine uses the energies inherent in the colours of the spectrum to restore this balance.

Primary herbs recommended in Ayurveda for body and hair color are Indigo and Henna!!

Indigo Indigo is also sedative and calming. It is said to promote intuition. Indigo may be useful in controlling bleeding and abscesses. Red Red promotes energy, empowerment, and stimulation. Physically, it is thought to improve circulation and stimulate red blood cell production.

We choose to sell you the indigo leaves (not powder) and the finest hand ground Henna separately so you can choose to use either one or the other or both together, like they were used thousands of years ago to bring lusture, shine and gloss to hair and empower your spirit !!

The Indigo and Henna treatment makes hair thicker. The henna thickens and colors and indigo relaxes curls while deepening henna colors. Both makes hair full, manageable, glossy. Used together final color is rich, natural black with aubergine highlights, sometimes glinting blue-black. All the split ends vanished with the henna. All the tangles go away with indigo. They were used inseparably in the past.
